Mesa County Department of Human Services (MCDHS) Child Welfare Division is launching a pilot program through its Child Protection Hotline: the Mesa County Warmline 12-03-2025.

At the Nov. 25 public hearing, the Board of Mesa County Commissioners approved the 2026 projected annual maintenance payments for software and hardware used by Mesa County, in the estimated aggregate amount of $2,512,378, and authorized IT to pay the invoices.

Mesa County, in collaboration with SGM, will conduct water sampling activities across the Grand Valley during the week of Dec. 8 to better understand the current water conditions coming from the Municipal Separate Storm Sewer Systems (MS4) and the stream segments.

During the Nov. 25 administrative public hearing, the Board of Mesa County Commissioners ratified a letter to Colorado Parks and Wildlife (CPW) in support of a Critical Agricultural Research and Extension grant application submitted by CSU Extension.

Starting January 1, 2026, water testing fees in the Regional Lab at Mesa County Public Health will increase.
